Napa---wine testing上周又是一个长周末, 终于去了趟NAPA, 小时候爸妈带着去看电影"云中漫步"时, 那一大片葡萄庄园透出的无际浪漫一直记在脑中, 虽然现实中已看不到电影中传统的酿酒工艺(是美丽的姑娘们赤脚跳进很大的木桶中, 把新鲜刚摘的葡萄踩榨出汁水), Napa valley的风景还是赞的. 时间关系只去了比较出名的Sterling Vineyards and V. Sattui Winery, 关键在于wine testing. 尝了不同的白, 红葡萄酒, 涩度甜度尽不相同, 还是觉得自己更喜欢闻葡萄酒香胜过真正喝它, 最后在V. Sattui挑了两瓶个人比较喜欢的味道, 其实就是果香味更重点甜一些的. 其中一瓶据说是picnic perfect的, 另一瓶配牛排应该也很nice. 五月不是葡萄成熟的季节, 所以呢, 在PICTURE里只能看到青翠的葡萄藤叶了.

Tears or words can not describe our feelings............. +U 中国, 虽然2008并不平静Bless 震区的同胞们, 不敢看新闻, 图片或录象, 因为知道自己的眼泪承受不住. 相信中国人是可以经受住考验的, 管它什么龌龊藏独, 还是雪灾地震, 不平静的2008只会激起中国人对自己祖国的更多热血与激情, 捐款献血, 是那些鼓吹"人道主义"的虚伪份子可以做到的吗? 佩服敬爱的温总理和那些在拯救灾区的同胞们, 敬礼!!!!+U, 伟大的祖国!!!!!!!期待2008的奥运中国依旧风采!
PS: 欢欢和米线都说摆盘是偶的作风, 那就继续发扬一下吧, 这个是晚上带去一个potluck party的摆盘新作.
这几天DAVIS很热很热......
已经连续几天熬夜了, project annual review meeting 这个月底, 帮老板做PPT准备presentation, 过完5月生活应该会轻松点了. movie this weekend and a new try in cookingMade of Honor, a new released movie on Friday. It tells a romantic love story and we really enjoyed it. and highly recommend it to anybody who wanna take a break from your busy life. By the way, it seems I go to theater to watch movie more and more nowadays and usually on the days when the movies are first released. I should be aware that the tickets cost money.
 Another thing, tried a new style in cooking yesterday. Spaghetti, one kind of Italian pasta, actually is easy to cook. And it is yummy. see attached photos below. haha, next step, try making sushi. So we do not have to spend money in Fuji or Osaka enjoying sushi buffet there. But maybe it is difficult to get fresh sashimi by ourselves.
